For more than 40 years, Charriol has been developing Swiss timepieces and fine jewelry that combine contemporary design with technical precision, distinguished by the signature use of steel or gold cable.
Guided by its Live Different philosophy, the Maison promotes confident self-expression through creations engineered for reliability, performance, and everyday wear.
Its watchmaking philosophy is rooted in a clear principle: function determines form. To ensure accuracy, durability, and user convenience, Charriol equips its watches with Swiss Made movements, selected for their proven stability and long-term reliability.
Charriol’s technical credibility is reinforced by long-standing collaborations with leading movement manufacturers including Renaud & Papi, Frédéric Piguet, Soprod. Over the past three decades, these partnerships have enabled the creation of proprietary movements such as the Celtic Haute Horlogerie Skeleton calibers introduced in 1995, the Philippe Charriol Tourbillon, and automatic Chronograph movements powering the SuperSportS collection.
Today, Charriol designs and produces three in-house calibers dedicated to its most technical watch line, the Navigator collection: Calibers Charriol C01, C02, and C03.
Charriol Caliber C01 – Automatic
Self-winding caliber 11 1/2'', 28'800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), with a diameter of 25.6mm and a height of 3.6mm, the Caliber C01 runs 3 hands - with a central seconds display and date in window at 4h30 or 3 o'clock, and delivers a 42-hour power reserve.
The oscillating weight is deeply engraved with the Charriol signature, “Swiss Made since 1983,” the brand’s C monogram and refined rhodium plated Côtes de Genève stripes.
Each C01 movement is regulated in six positions, achieving a daily rate tolerance of +/-7 seconds per day and ensuring high chronometric stability.
Charriol Caliber C02 – Automatic GMT
The caliber C02 features a GMT module with a central 4th hand indicating the second time zone on an inner 24-hour ring.
The self-winding caliber 11 1/2'', 28'800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) delivers a 42-hour power reserve. Date is displayed in a window at 4h30.
The original oscillating weight is engraved with the Charriol signature “Swiss Made since 1983” plus the brand’s C monogram and decorated with rhodium plated Côtes de Genève stripes.
Its chronometric stability meets COSC criteria’s and offers an accuracy of +/- 7 seconds per day.
Charriol Caliber C03 – Automatic Skeleton
The Caliber C03 is a self-winding caliber 11 1/2'', 28'800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), with a diameter of 25.60mm and a height of 3.6mm, offering a 42-hour power reserve and specially designed as Skeleton caliber.
Its open worked architecture reveals extensive hand-finishing, including beveling, rhodium plated bridges and pearl finish.
The skeletonized oscillating weight is engraved with the Charriol C monogram, highlighting its high-horology construction and mechanical transparency.
