Coralie Charriol is CEO and Creative Director of the prestigious luxury timepieces, jewelry and accessories Maison, Charriol.
The Geneva-based company was founded in 1983 by her father, the French entrepreneur
Phillipe Charriol. Since taking over at the helm of the house in 2020, Coralie has modernized
and redesigned the house’s iconic St-Tropez® watch line, introduced several jewelry
collections - including an 18K gold collection, and celebrated the brands’ 40 th anniversary.
Charriol is for a few years now an exhibitor at the luxury trade show, Watches and Wonders
Geneva. A collaboration with Shary Rahman, the renowned watch collector @time_mecanic,
led to the creation of a limited edition GMT watch, while a first association with a fashion
house enabled the launch of the Cynthia Rowley timepiece.
As an avid surfer, Coralie, has introduced some novelties such as the Navigator Surf watch
that morphs the mechanical excellence of a true Swiss-watch, but with a sporty rubber strap
designed for the ‘weekend warrior’.
As an executive, Coralie is one or the few women running a Swiss watchmaker today. As a
designer, she has designed more than 50 jewelry collections for the brand, and her signature
can be found on almost every Charriol item - from watches to handbags to the best-selling
Forever bangle. Coralie draws her inspiration from Art Deco jewelry in France and Swedish
design of the same period, contemporary photography and Renaissance paintings, as well
as her fascination with high-precision Swiss manufacturing.
Coralie embodies all the facets of the brand’s motto “Live Different” through trademark
optimism, curiosity and ambition. Today, she resides in Geneva with her family as she
continues to pursue her father’s legacy from their Swiss headquarters, regularly traveling
around the world to impart the brand’s vision as the emblematic Charriol Woman.
Charriol continues to grow globally, expanding its footprint in the USA and throughout the
Caribbean, supported by a new subsidiary distribution structure in Miami and a robust e-
commerce business. New markets in 2024 included India and Korea, as well as re-entry into
the UAE and Thailand. The brand continues to strengthen its success within longtime
partners in Saudi Arabia, The Philippines and Taiwan.
