At Charriol, Coralie has a tradition of breaking ground by first designing and launching the ladies’ watches of each new collection, and then designing the men’s variations in larger sizes afterwards - the opposite of the way the watch industry has worked for the past 100 years.
So having designed and launched the Navigator collection at W&W Geneve 2023 with the SURF 36mm automatic Diver line for women, Coralie is unveiling at W&W Geneve 2024 her new SURF 41mm automatic Diver for men - and gentlemen, it was worth the wait!
Constructed for an active lifestyle, the mechanics are automatic, the back open to display the mainspring that keeps time by the natural movement of its wearer. The dial’s design features tall letter forms, elongated closed counters and geometric proportions - with the second counter extended to the bezel in order to add a sense of precision. The second hand is again presented as a colored lighting bolt, a nod to Coralie’s own surfboard design.
Manufactured in stainless steel with DLC coating, boasting a steel and ceramic unidirectional, 120-click turning bezel, waterproof to 100 meters or 300 feet (10 ATM) for high-impact water sports such as surfing, powered by a rugged ETA 2892 Swiss Automatic calibre, featuring colored dials with Swiss Super LumiNova elements from Tritec (Grade A, 0.20mm thick). The 41mm SURF watch is secured by a white, dark blue or black professional grade FKM diver strap with matte stainless steel folding buckle.
