Charriol’s iconic timepiece St-Tropez™
To celebrate Charriol's 40th anniversary in 2023, Coralie Charriol has redesigned the iconic watch created by her late father Philippe in a modern version to stand the test of time, to offer a classic yet distinct timepiece.
Offered in mini 20mm, 25mm and now in maxi 30mm diameter in a selection of steel, yellow or rose gold tones, diamonds and white mother-of-pearl or shimmering colors, the St-Tropez™ collection reflects the sharp luxury and supple charm of the jewel of the French Riviera, Saint-Tropez, whose trademarked name it has proudly carried for 3 decades.
In this latest maxi version the 30mm dial lets the watch face breath, featuring sleek hour markers and a distinctive new font that uses tall letter forms, elongated closed counters and geometric proportions - set against a mother-of-pearl background. The larger size also allows for a new detail on the bezel - decorative screws, available in matching or contrasting tones, which add heft but never at the cost of style.
To support the larger case, the band has returned to six stainless steel thinner cables, set along the updated chain design, featuring oblate oval links.
The Maxi is offered in three signature classic colorways - steel, yellow gold and rose gold plated - with slight variations available on bezel design, incorporating diamonds alongside the decorative screws.
